"The Little Falls Western Railroad combines memories of living in the small town of Little Falls in upstate New York and a branch line of my own imagination. Family members did not live on the wrong side of the railroad tracks but only 20 to 30 yards from the four track mainline of the New York Central Railroad from New York to Chicago. The house shook when trains passed by. Thunder could be heard in each room, and the whistle maker located out of the back door signaled engineers to provide great music for upcoming railroad crossings."
